fit to be tried

Today was my first day to use my new gym membership! I walked at lunch today on the treadmill in the gym in our building. I walked about 38.5 minutes and I walked 4.5mph most of the time.  I burned over 330 calories! (That probably takes care of the three cups of sugared and creamed coffee with which I fueled this day!)  My average time on the treadmill was like a 12.30 minute mile, and I walked over three miles! Pretty cool, huh? Best part of all is, I watched TV while I walked! I saw part of The Essence of Emeril and then Rachel Ray’s 30 Minute Meals while I walked. It was actually ENJOYABLE! Maybe I will lose weight after all! Unless the salmon burgers Emeril was making added pounds some how. They looked DELICIOUS! Yum!

Tonight I’ve gotta take the girls back to Old Navy to make some returns & exchanges. Okay, have you tried their new jeans? LOVE ‘EM! I got some jeans on Sunday, and I am so diggin’ ‘em.  There are three new styles of “fits” to choose from for ladies. I have “The Sweetheart”, and “The Flirt”.  I tried to wear “The Diva”, but, it is soooooooo low waisted that I will have to go up a size to be able to manage those.  But all three styles are fabulous. Love ‘em! So much, in fact, that I think I should add ‘em to my list. See below:

Additions to my list of faves and craves:

5.   Old Navy’s new jeans for gals

6.   Big honkin’ bling rings. I am a sucker for a big cocktail ring. There is no such thing as too bigguva ring.

7.   OPI fingernail polish in “Did Somebody Say Party?”  (It matches my lipstick dead-on.)

8.   Bras that match the color of my shirt. I aspire to have a bra in every color made. Is that asking too much?

9.   Bath and Body Works Stress Relief products in the old timey apothecary bottles.  That massage oil is ALLLLLL THAAAAAAAT.  It has spearmint and lavender and eucalyptus…Smells divine. Great for tense muscles. I could almost wear it for perfume.

10. eighteen inch ceramic tile. Once you go 18’ tile, you never go back. Or, at least you’ll never want to.

Okay, this day’s winding down. And, I’m about to punch out ’til the fifth.

Happy fourth everyone!  God bless!

    Loved the faves list.

I am so gonna have to try some Old Navy jeans. I have never, brace yourself, ever been to Old Navy before. I know, it’s shocking. Anyway, I would love to get some jeans other than the ones at Wal-Mart!

I got some shampoo that I took on vacation in the little mini-bottle – I think it was the Brilliant Brunette, but I’ll have to double check. It was the absolute best shampoo. It felt like pouring pure luxury on my hair! And if you can believe it, we were at a family reunion while we were there and sitting out in the sun, and Mitch made a comment about how my hair color looked so pretty with the sun shining on it. I know it had a lot to do with the shampoo. I cannot wait to buy some more!

My bras are extremely unextravagant, black and white, athletic and regular. Until I lose some weight it will not get any more exotic than that!

It is so funny that you should mention the bottles at B&B Works! I was having trouble breathing the other night and was remembering how I used to take a bath with the eucalyptus oil in one of those little bottles to help open my sinuses. It was fantabulous!

I guess if I ever went tile at all I would never go back, but so far…

    stuck with linoleum.
