honey, I’m home

We’ve just returned from a trip! (That’s why I haven’t written in ages.)  Our family of four plus my mom and dad drove to Asheville, NC and toured the Biltmore Estate, home of the Vanderbilt family.

The home and gardens were really awesome. Eight thousand acres of property! It really was a good trip.  I took lots of great pictures.

Terry and my dad went fly fishing with an instructor/guide on Friday. They enjoyed that a lot. Grandma and the girls and I went shopping while that excursion was going on.

Okay, I will write more later. But, right now, I’m beat like a drum. So, I think I’m gonna go melt into the couch for awhile.

More later!dsc03000.jpg

You were in my brother’s “home” town. We’ll be there in September celebrating his marriage! We love Asheville. Andy and I toured the Biltmore early in our marriage (before kids) and had a blast! It was a good day trip from our college town. Can’t wait to hear more about it!

Can’t wait to see more photos! Love that place! It’s been some time since we’ve been to Biltmore – but I have some killa photos from Christmas at the Biltmore. They decorate over there like none other. We’ll be sitting by – looking forward to more details of the trip!
