I’ve read the book I’m about to tell you about once before now…about twelve years ago.  It’s a novel. I understand that. But, I cannot effectively explain to you how phenomenally this novel affected me spiritually. It is very eye-opening.

And, I’m reading it again. Just as it did in my first read, it is super charging my walk with God once more.  Peretti is a strong Christian author with incredible insight.  I’ve read other books he’s written as well. But, this one:  THIS PRESENT DARKNESS, as well as his book, THE OATH, are my favorite ones of his works.

So, like I said…read this. Already read it? Read it again. It is strong.

Oh, that is such an amazing book. I could hardly put it down! Did you read the followup book “Piercing the Darkness?” It has some of the same characters. The Oath was good too, but I only listened to an abridged version on audio. Did you see the movies they did of “The Visitation” or “Hangman’s Curse”?

I know what you mean about this book… I read it several years ago and I think I remember that we discussed this book once before… it is truly and eye opener and one that we all need from time to time…. now what did I do with that book?
