eating more in order to weigh less

I’m having company this Saturday night (our small group from church), and my house needs major housekeeping services before then. Hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhelp!

 

Okay, not really. I mean, I really NEED help. But, I wouldn’t let anybody in to help me. I’ll have to deal with this on my own. Yikes!  Well, it could be worse.  Besides, I work well under a deadline. In fact, I work primarily when on a deadline. The rest of the time I just sort of exist. Is that bad? I gotta tell ya, I’ve been like this my whole life. I was like this in school. I was the one who did the project the night before, and got an A on it despite my late start and lack of effort. And, when that kind of thing happens again and again, one does not learn that it’s necessarily a bad way to live. Ya know? I’m just sayin’.

 

Today I had not one but TWO Chick-Fil-A sandwiches without bread. And, despite the fact that I did not order French fries, those Chick-Fil-A people put fries in my sack. So, naturally I assumed that was no coincidence. Must have been a God thing. So, naturally I ate half of the order of waffle fries. I have not looked it up on dottisweightlosszone.com yet to see how many carbs I consumed. But, I did read today online that it’s good to vary your calorie and carb intake so that your metabolism stays on its toes. The article I read said maybe I need to be eating more in order to start weighing less. I don’t know if that’s true, but I sure like the concept!  Maybe that’s what’s happened with me. Maybe it’s just that I eat the same thing, same thing, same thing day in day out. So, my body has adapted to my routine. And, that’s why I’ve plateaued for the last three weeks.

 

I did weigh a pound less this morning. But, I’m still a pound away from what my lowest weigh in has been since January 27th.

 

Arghhhhhh!
