daddy daily volume 10

Daddy has been more agitated and has done some lashing out physically at his sitters since Wednesday night. His cardiologist says his blood pressure is still a little high, so they will continue to work towards getting those numbers better. He wouldn’t eat at breakfast yesterday. Mama got him to eat some applesauce at lunch. And, he at probably 50% of his supper. And, that’s because Mama’s feeding him. He does much better when she’s encouraging him to eat and spooning bites in herself.
Nurses administered Ativan twice yesterday to try to help him calm down and rest. I hope he’ll settle down some or there will HAVE TO a dose of Ativan regularly. He’s not strong on his legs anymore because he’s been in the bed for a week. So getting him up to get to the toilet is a major event right now, requiring two people to assist.
But, there is nothing, I repeat: NOTHING! wrong with the man’s grip. It’s really, really strong. And, so is his will!
Meanwhile, Mama’s back is not doing very well, and she’s spending twenty minute periods lying on an ice pack when she’s not at the hospital. Please pray that situation will improve, too.

Glad to see DeWitt and Steve contact you. I saw Ms. Miller/Ward today and she was asking all about your daddy. What is her first name? Is it Lera? Do you know what Ward she married? I would like to keep her informed. bqm
